photographer helen levitt died this past weekend at the age of 95. she leaves behind a significant body of work documenting the streets of new york, spanning nearly 8 decades. thous she is considered the "least known photographer of her time", i'm sure you'd recognize her photographs. maybe these?

there is an exhibition going on at the karlsplatz museum in vienna on helen levitt and other new york photographers. crazy.
