Phoenix on MPR
Minnesota Public Radio has an excellent interview and in-studio session with Phoenix streaming at their website. Singer Thomas Mars sheds some light on the writing process behind the summer jam monster that is Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix and their now semi-famous three-song stint on SNL. The band also plays a stripped-down version of "Playground Love" from the Virgin Suicides soundtrack, which was written by Mars and performed with Air.
