from south philly to new orleans, and everywhere in between, zoe strauss is on a mission to create "a dentists x-ray of all her countries cavities". her photo documentation is bluntly raw and absolutely fantastic - if you're into that kinda thing. and her new show, we love having you here is opening tonight at the silverstein gallery, for all you thursday-night-opening goers. i'm excluding myself from that list cause its cold out and i'm sticking to the 'burg with some beers tonight. but i full intend to make it to chelsea to check it out before it closes jan 10th, as should you.
