I've been digging on Sister Crayon for a minute now after stumbling onto one of their tracks via an Urban Outfitters mixtape (yes, of all places). Their only official release so far sits snuggly in Manimal Vinyl's catalog, along side appropriate sister-bands Warpaint and Bat For Lashes. The quartet, lead by singer-songwriter Terra Lopez, will also be sharing space on the label's upcoming Bowie tribute album, with the likes of Duran Duran, APTBS, Chairlift, and tons more.

A new EP ('Enter into Holy (Or)ders') + a video for the track 'In(Reverse)' are expected out later this month, which will surely shed some much deserved light on these guys. In the mean while... 2 tracks after the jump + more info at www.sistercrayon.net.
