The first time I mentioned Ganglians I was saying they might carry on the lo-fi pop-punk torch that Wavves had just seemed to drop and stomp out. Then Ganglians pulled a near 180° with their next album, the Beach Boys on acid, on acid, on acid experiment that was Monster Head Room. According to Chocolate Bobka, the guys eschewed most of the Monster Head Room material when they played Market Hotel with Wavves (right before BlackWavves-gate) last friday. But this live version of "Never Mind," my favorite track on the self-titled 12", is killer.
