New Native Korean Rock
Seriously, I've been in a new music slump lately. Of course, I still listen to music all day, but there just hasn't been that much "new" stuff that I've been really hyped on. So, in a desperate attempt for something exciting, I went back to Native Korean Rock's Myspace. Remember them? Anyway, I'm pretty sure at least half of those songs weren't up the last time I mentioned Karen O's little side project that could. So, head over and check it out because if a Karen O sings on the internet and there's no one there to hear it, does she really sing a song? Hmmmmm?
And for the love of G-O-D, if anyone finds a good new band that isn't skate-garage-punk, a bad Animal Collective ripoff, or a freaking remix, please let me know.

october release, Ghost Glacier, is quite nice. folksy stuff. kinda sounds like bill callahan doing vocals for andrew bird. they're not really a new group though:/ just thought i'd give them a shout out.

a-men, brother.
btw what makes a band sound like animal collective? samplers/sequencers and beach boy vocal melodies? being "trippy?" i've heard this alot recently but i have no idea what it is supposed to mean....
