Volcano, I'm Still Excited
This post is inspired solely by the fact that I got a copy of Volcano, I'm Still Excited's first ever release on vinyl! Polyvinyl released the band's only album on CD in 2004 and they broke up shortly after. It's been 6 years in the making, but with the help of Kickstarter, the label was able to raise enough money to get the vinyl pressed. So, if you've never heard the band, just try to remember when you used to like pop-punk a little and give them a chance. If you see this record on vinyl, I recommend you grab it. I don't think they pressed very many and even if you don't like it you'll be able to catch a mint for it on eBay.
