When the Winter Comes
It's been too long since we've heard anything from Damu the Fudgemunk. This new track, "when the winter comes," with Buff1, has some of the sweetest drums and jazz piano lines running throughout. The song has something to do with how it's getting colder outside, but does it really matter what the MC's saying when Damu's on the tables? I think this is further evidence that rapper's just shouldn't be aloud to flow over Damu's tracks. It's just not necessary.
That being said, Damu is releasing the instrumental tracks from 2007's Y Society album, Travel At Your Own Pace, on CD & vinyl via his own imprint, Redefinition Records. Y Society is Damu with Insight on the mic but all you really need is the Damu part.
