Ohh, how the God's of Independent Live Music Videos are smiling on you today, my friend. If you missed CMJ in it's entirety, much like myself, you can find solace in Ray Concepcion's 14-part video series in conjunction with Chocolate Bobka and Underwater Peeps. It's called The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner and (so far) it features the likes of Surfer Blood and Mountain Man but I'm sure there are about 12 more videos to come.

In Senor Concepcion's words:
it's a tribute to the 1962 film by the same name, and an homage to all artists out there whose bitter cold, lovesick hearts are determined to break free from the grips of corporate phantoms that control the trite, uninitiated minds of modern slaves. death to everyone but us.

I can get down with that. Damn The Man! Save Empire Records!

Sorry, I confuse my polemics from time to time.
